- In an aqueous solution, Potassium Monopersulfate Compound Powder undergoes a chain decomposition reaction, continuously producing free radicals, such as Oxygen Free Radicals (O) and Hydroxyl Free Radicals (·OH), Hypochlorous Acid (HCIO), Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂) etc.
- Oxygen Free Radical (O) and Hydroxyl Free Radical (·OH) are very active and highly oxidizing free radicals, which can change the permeability of cell membrane and virus envelope, cause the loss of enzymes and nutrients, the dissolution and rupture of pathogens, and then kill pathogens. They also interfere with the DNA and RNA synthesis of pathogens and hinder the replication of genetic materials and the reproduction of pathogenic microorganisms. At the same time, Hypochlorous Acid (HCIO) and Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂) also have chlorination and acidification effects, which can inhibit the enzymes in the cells of pathogenic microorganisms, prevent the synthesis of proteins, and thus make the cells decompose and kill microorganisms. In addition, the Chloride released after killing microorganisms and viruses is oxidized to Hypochlorous Acid and Hydroxyl Free Radicals by the Active Oxygen of Potassium Monopersulfate, to maintain the disinfection and sterilization effect for a long time.
Test Results
A. The product effectively inactivation of more than or equal to 5 log10 CFU/ml of both S. aureus and E. coli bacteria were confirmed.
B. The product average inactivation of more than log10 CFU/ml of surface bacteria on table
C. By using this product, the killing rate of Staphylococcus albus from the air is 99.9%
The test results meet the requirements of the 2002 edition of the Disinfection Technical Specifications of the Ministry of Health.
